Discarded to Divine is a fantastic project by the St Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco. Designers repurpose goods to create items of clothing, accessories and home goods. These are auctioned off to raise money for the societies work.

My entry this year was inspired by Vivienne Westwood and Jan Bruegel. I created a smocked coat from a vintage jacket, a sheet, a piece of cloth and some ribbon.
