I started Design Bahn to create a range of products, initially making gifts for friends and family. Over the past year I have concentrated on developing a line influenced by my artwork and inspiration. I am fascinated by trompe l’oeil and recreate this aspect in my textile designs. Using traditional sewing techniques such as smocking and pleating, I photograph my 3D works, turning 3D back to 2D, ready for repeating and creating textile designs.
